About the House
Casa do Pomar, located in Lugar de Parada, traces its origins of the mid-nineteenth century. It is a typical house of the regions of Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês, where the upper floor was meant to give accommodation to the owners and the ground floor was used as a stable for the animals. This house owes its name to the existence of an orchard near to the house.
Besides its own characteristics, Casa do Pomar, is also marked by its location next to ´Eira das Leijas´, a threshing-floor of granite granaries.
From the house we can admire a beautiful landscape over the enchanting Vale do rio Lima. Make a visit to Castelo do Lindoso, climb Serra Amarela and discover the Garrano horses and the Barrosão cattle in perfect harmony with the local rurality.
Indulge the typical dishes of the region and walk the trails that will invite you to discover pure nature.

Ground floor: 1 Twin bedroom and 1 bathroom.
First floor: 2 double bedroom, 1 bathroom, living/dining room (fireplace,sofa and tv), kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, cookware and utensils)
General: Includes bed linens and towels. Central heating. Products for breakfast will be provided. Pets are not allowed.

Exclusive use of the house for 6 persons: €135/night
Extra bed: €15/night
Notes: These prices are for the exclusive use of the house. Extra bed only for children up to 12 years. Minimum stay: 2 nights.
